Ha! I have to tell you my dream last night. I was walking through a big storeroom that was chock full of these fuzzy green chairs. Well, I was going to sit on one of them, and I looked closer and it and it said 'High King Fingolfin' in spirally letters on the back. Then I turned around and you were yelling at me, waving. You yelled "I'm going to be late for tango practice!" And then you left.

:-) Don't look at me! Yeah, good luck with the dance...See ya tomorrow!

Congrats! It was muy bien. Better Saturday night than in the morning, which is good, because that's the way it's supposed to be. I wish I hadn't seen it! I want to do it! No fair. Well, next year I MIGHT be in the company (please please please) and they might do something like it. Maybe. Oh well.

Life goes on, quite Duond Akuru-less. :-) Happy Thanksgiving. We're going to NM and will stop off at White Sands....hmmm, last time we went there (about five years ago) we drank blue Hawaiian Punch and I fell down a dune and got a huge wound on my arm. I have a scar if yer interested. ;-) Boys like scars. And kisses. Some even like Erica.

January 2. Hey Brandon. This is a very sad Pegeen who hopes she may see you again sometime. Pegeen's wonderfully talented and most beloved father has a new job. We are moving away very soon. I hope we'll meet again, if not, in heaven! I'll miss this town very much.

Love,

January 25. We've left Nacogdoches. How do you restart your life? That's what it feels like. Sorting through ballet schools, Venturing crews, choirs, homeschool groups, trying to find a kind of order. *sigh* I have this impending feeling that I will wander around this foreign town the rest of my life, not belonging anywhere. Depressing thought.

I joined a choir today - isn't that exciting???? I'm excited!!!! It's a homeschool choir, there's about 75 people in it. Imagine that.....75 homeschoolers in one place. :-) The guys are, not surprisingly, not all that great. They never are (why can't any teenage male american boy sing decently???? Besides you, of course). Ah well.

As you can guess, they raise it up higher and higher and one by one people jump off the board and attempt to make it over.

Let me tell you I have never done that sort of thing and I did some belly busters to wallop my insides into the middle of next week.

It was great fun, however, in a masochistic way. I did much better than I expected, though my final attempt ended with my face colliding with the water at about 300 mph and I thought I might not make it up to the surface again. :-) I did though, earning myself 11th place. Ahhhh, fun-ness.

Mary had a little Lamb,
His fleece was white as snow.
And everywhere that Mary went
The Lamb was sure to go.
He followed her to school each day,
Twasn't even in the rule.
He made the children laugh and play
To have a Lamb at school.
And then the rules all changed one day,
Illegal it became
To bring the Lamb of God to school
Or even speak His name.
Everyday it got worse and worse
As days turned into years.
Instead of hearing children laugh
We're hearing gun shots and tears.
What must we do to stop the hurt
That's in our schools today?
Let the Lamb come back to school
And teach our kids to pray!

*January 2* Didn't actually watch the Rose Bowl, but we did watch the Fiesta Bowl tonight. Go Sooners! After all the eye rolling I have done about crazy rabid OU fans, I actually cheered quite loudly. They lost, though.

*January 5* Watched a WWII episode of Dr. Who last night. Uggghhh. Waaaaay too creepy. I could NEVER make it through a horror movie - nope, nope.

*January 7* I am so glad to be back on my schedule. Winter break is all well and good, but I for one run best on normalcy.

"When one has tasted watermelon, he knows what the angels eat."

It's been in the 70's for days now - the weather is tricking me into thinking it's summer.

*January 12* I have often thought that I spend so much time wishing my circumstances were different, that I must surely be missing the opportunity to create those different circumstances.

*February 3* Stupid Patriots. They can't cover their own q-back while Eli Manning has all week to throw the ball around! Well, good game, I guess.

*February 8* Have you ever read The Day They Came to Arrest the Book? Surely The Adventures OF Huckleberry Finn is required for all schools. Excellent book, certainly I loved it.

*February 15* At at Arby's today for the first time in years. It was actually delicious for a fast food chicken sandwich. I do love chicken sandwiches.

*February 17* Well, today I had a fun job. I got paid to sit for a few hours monitoring party inflatables that no one was jumping on, then play for a while and run around like a little kid. Whew, it'd hard work doing all that bouncing - precisely why they hire high schoolers to do it!

*February 22* Went to participate in a choir convention a few days ago. It was a terrible flop. We were supposed to sing in the worship services and demonstrate in a workshop. Ugghh. The people running it were very strange, and there were like twenty people at the convention. Total. Totally a waste of time.
